1822519 Somfy Synch Control - Toggle Switches (Momentary Output GCS Control)

SOMFY'S Synchronizing Control is designed to control two motors simultaneously. When two SOMFY motors are mounted in a single tube, moving a single window covering, it is important that the motors coincide with each other. The Synchronizing Control actuates and stops both motors at the same time. This helps prevent damage to the tube, motor, and window covering. It is very important not to exceed the load/weight limitations of the mounting hardware such as brackets, fasteners, etc. when synchronizing two SOMFY operators. The Synchronizing Control is available with either maintained (IGC-type) or momentary (GCS-type) outputs.

Though it appeared the part we needed was in stock when we ordered it, it was not.  Timing was critical because the part needed to hand carried out of the country in under two weeks.  Also, I was under the mistaken belief that FedEx would deliver the part within three days or so. When I received confirmation of my order it showed FedEx Ground Shipping.  I called FAS and spoke to Mary Ann for the first time.  She did not know if the part was in stock or not but would find out.  It turned out that it had to be shipped directly from the manufacturer; Mary Ann said she would have it shipped with 3-day delivery.  

A week went by before it was shipped and again it stated Ground Shipping.  Numerous emails and a few more phone calls and we got a confirmation FedEx would deliver it with two days to spare.  Without Mary Ann's tenacity, an alternative delivery would have delayed this urgently needed hurricane shutter repair by over three weeks.  Thank you Mary Ann.
