Item & shipping good...customer service needs help |

I called FAS to see if they had a switch I needed in stock at their facility, because I knew the Somfy factory was doing a computer update & couldn't ship anything for 3 weeks. The person I talked to at FAS put me on hold & went in back to verify in person that they had the switch in stock, which he said they did & said they could ship the next day if I placed the order right away, which I did. Well a week later still no shipping notification, so I emailed for a tracking number...no reply. Another week goes by so I call this time & now they say that they actually didn't have it in stock & I would have to wait for the Somfy factory to ship it once they were back up & running. So FAS basically lied to me. Had I known this I wouldn't have ordered it & found somewhere else that did have it in stock so that I could get my job completed, maybe that's why they told me they did have it in stock? Once they did actually ship it, it came fast & item was as described, hence the 3 stars vs 1 star.
